Morgan Lane is one of the premier, independent real estate firms representing vineyard and estate properties. Morgan Lane consists of a total of seven (7) offices, in the communities of Napa (2), Yountville and St. Helena, Sonoma and Santa Rosa and Carmel Valley. There are currently over 65 full time Realtors affiliated with the firm. The company’s mission statement – “To provide the highest level of service with integrity to our clientele”, and its motto – “The Fine Art of Fine Property” perhaps best describe the basis on which the company operates. The team philosophy and unique marketing and advertising strategies set the company apart from the average real estate firms in Wine Country, Northern California and possibly in the country. Mike is the former President and Chairman of the Board of Dilbeck Realtors, GMAC, a 14-office real estate firm in north Los Angeles and Ventura counties generating over $2 Billion in closed annual sales volume. Under Mike’s guidance, Dilbeck Realtors grew from a 4-office firm to a company now included in the “Top 100” real estate firms in the country. Mike was originally licensed as a Realtor in 1972 and joined Dilbeck Realtors in 1973. Mike and his wife, Jill Silvas, acquired Morgan Lane in June of 1998. Both are actively involved in the real estate industry on a wide-ranging scale. Mike is the Past Chairman of the Board of the “for-profit” arm of the California Association of Realtors (CAR): Real Estate Business Services, Inc. (REBS) and currently serves on the Board of Real Estate Business Technologies LLC(REBT) , as a State Director and on the Strategic Planning and Finance Committee for CAR. Over the years, he has served on various committees with organized real estate, including the Legislative Committee and as a State Director for CAR, as President of various Boards of Realtors and on Long Range Planning and Boards of Multiple Listing Services. Mike’s involvement does not end with real estate. He has been actively involved in community organizations both in Southern California and now in the North Bay. He served as the Honorary Mayor of the City of La Crescenta and was a past President and member of the JayCees there for many years. Currently Mike is on the Executive Committee of the Napa Valley Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Business Advisory Committee of the Napa Valley Community College and an Associate Director for the Board of the Resource Conservation District of Napa Valley.
