Representatives from 21 companies were present at the bi-annual Brainstormers Conference held on October 27-29, 2009 at the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas. Also in attendance were several emeritus members who at the conclusion of the two day event, shared with the group their insight and perspective on how the Brainstormers collective has benefited them personally and professionally over the years.

Mike Hickman, President and COO of Seven Gables Real Estate in Orange County, California, facilitated the event which included key note presentations by Thad Wong, Broker Owner of @Properties in Chicago who spoke about the culture that has driven his highly successful 800 agent office operations to become #1 in the greater Chicago area; Marc Davison, co-founder of 1000 Watt Consulting – a real estate industry marketing consulting firm based in San Luis Obispo, CA whose presentation focused on the importance of company Branding and the Brokerage of The Future; Eric Duncan, Chief Technology Officer of Seven Gables Real Estate who spoke about integrating an Ecommerce platform into a company’s business model for the purpose of obtaining specific and measurable lead generation results, as well as Lisa Greubel, General Manager and Performance Coach of Seven Gables Real Estate who gave her insight on the value of coaching and the quantifiable and measurable results the company has experienced since integrating the system into the organization.  Following the presentations, Mike Hickman facilitated a member/panel question and answer session.  It was an informative and invaluable meeting for all.

The Brainstormers is an organization whose membership is comprised of owners or CEOs of independent real estate companies from non-competing market areas throughout the United States.  In addition to allowing its members to establish meaningful personal business relationships, the organization provides real value through its open exchange of ideas which helps all members improve upon their existing business practices.
